A Day at the Track

well, three of us here on the forums went to the track. SatRedL, Fineline and me. it was a good time, there were some fast cars there, and some cars that seemed like they should have done better... including us

my personal best was a 14.9 at just under 95 mph, which seemed to be pretty good, as i ran against a new GTO that only ran a 14.5 (and he took the liberty to put his hazzards on at the end...)

there were a couple pretty fast civic turbos there, a stock SRT and he was pretty cool. i ran against him a bunch of times. he was pulling 14.3-14.8's, one race where i botched the launch, he was in the 15's, and it was my only chance to take him, but didn't. good times, i've got a bunch of slips to post, and some video. what's the best way for me to post video?

yes you were, after noon or so things died down and it was go, drive back, go, drive back, go, drive back, go. i got in quite a few runs...

we were consistently around 15, i was the only one to break 14's, with an average of 15.3, launching at the track is a whole new world to me, not quite like the stoplight to stoplight runs i'm used to

Yeah, it was a good time. Where the hell were you spooner? Launching off that light is a lot different than the stoplight Grand Prix's we're all so used to. My best was a 15.064 @93mph The diesel pickup trucks were unbelievable running 13's
