drag bags? do you have them or want them?

koni rears? do you have them or want them?

returnless with high flow rail? heading in that direction?

centerforce clutch......you need it (or exedy)

i say we all chip in and start a "MY_BD Needs new slicks" paypal fund, if that's what is holding you back from 12's I'd pay to see it.

also, I know you are primarily interested in a streetable car, but who will be the first to fit one of those spring loaded weight transfer "wheelie bars" to try to launch this car hard?

also, do you think an LSD trans would help?

- already have drag bags
- not sure what the rear koni's would add at these low power levels
- return style with a stronger pump or supplementary pump, and an fpr seems to be the logical route to go now, at least based upon what other cars have had success with.
- clutch is definitely overdue for the track
- a better size of slick for a 16" wheel is needed (and lighter wheels)
- I have yet to see any evidence that an lsd launches better or lasts longer in a straight line. I've been doing this crap to my poor car for 3 yrs now on an open diff.

1. I think the konis in the rear set to the stiffest setting would only help with weight transferring to the rear on launch and shift into second (and help handling a bit too)

2. i tend to trust the crateenginedepot guys and they only sell the centerforce, so i would look into that one (plus its a good deal with a flywheel)

3. I have some 16x7's that weigh 18.5 lbs if you are interested (I may be selling them soon). How much do saab steelies weigh? I kinda like the idea of not having to shift into fourth though (even with high trap speeds).

I was hoping to read some reviews on the Centerforce unit, haven't seen anyone put one in a RL or balt yet though.
The Exedy sounds like a safe way to go too.

the saab steelies weigh 20lbs
I'd like to find something significantly lighter

Find it. The lightest 17" I've found on Tirerack.com in our bolt pattern is 19 lbs.

There was some guy on here throwing a hissy fit because nobody would group buy sets that weighed 15 lbs at $350/rim. Tirerack doesn't carry that good of rims for our cars.
