I try to launch pretty low, about 1500 RPM and wait till I feel good grip before punching it
course I'm pretty slow from a dig

I launch at about 3000 rmp but let out the clutch slow enough to avoid wheel hop. then i gradually increase the throtle on first gear but not to the point to where i get wheel spin.

If you're feeling nuts, 3.5k rpm half throttle, let the car start moving and then mash on the peddle...and of course if you don't have any mods to support that sort of thing you might have a bad day.

For everyday quick launching, I recommend 2.5k rpm 1/4 throttle and gradually ease into WOT (wide open throttle) and go all out in second.

Duly noted, but I don't have that problem anymore. All I get is sound of scuff for a brief moment, like a quarter of a second. Hell, I've even tried to force it to break loose, which almost happened in the rain one day, but these tires handle pretty darn well.

+1 on that or else you will spin down the track to a 15.4@105 ....not saying that thas how my first run at the track went this past weekend or anything...uh yea, but I try to launch at about 1500 but you WILL wheel hop most likely w/o a mount, stabilizer or something
