Arrow Rev Limiter??

Hey All,
I've noticed something happening with my RL. When I get close to Redline it seems like the engine has a slight stall. I see on that red line is 6500 but it stalls at about 6250, not stalls literally like the engine shuts down, but it lags or something, stall seems to be the best way to describe it. Can anyone explain??

I beleive it is the fact that the tach in our car can not spool up as fast as the car can. So in reality you are at 6500 rpm when your tach reads 6250 in first gear.

I have not found this to be a problem in any gear except 1st

I haven't noticed it in first, but I wasn't looking for it. And I noticed it in 2nd and wasn't sure if thats what it was. But I figured it was the tach catching up to itself, Thanks

Yes that's true. Our tach is a little slow. Redline is 6450 (I think) but you'll probably have to shift a little sooner.

I find the best way to get around this issue is to shift at 3000. Saves on gas, and the tach can keep up. What? You bought your RL to Redline? WTF? No one told me!

Speaking of gas, lol... how many miles are you guys averaging per tank of gas. I just got my RL a few weeks ago I'm trying to gauge how well i'm doing with the gas mileage compared to others.
