This just in...

Drunk Driver's Suck!

Chris and I got hit at the same time on Orange Ave between Landstreet and Taft while waiting for a train to finish crossing. Luckily we were far enough behind to not damage any further cars. Thanks to the local car scene guys for helping us move the cars and checking to make sure we weren't hurt.

Long story short, Chris's car is totaled, and mine is nicely narfed up.

Damage pictars:

dude thats nuts.. i'm glad to hear your ok tho and those pictures look bad.. with the car totalled tho it's a good reason to upgrade to a redline.. always look for the silver lining..plus you can also get a few bills out of the guy that did it.. drunk drivers don't deserve to have a license.. even the poeple that don't get caught... it's not hard to not drink and drive.. infact it takes more effort to do it then it does to just call a cab or stay with someone else.. make sure he remembers not to do it by making him pay.. you and your friend both deserve something... i hope he gets so poor he can't afford a car anymore... poeple like that barely deserve to a bike much less drive a car..

let me guess.. the guy wasn't hurt at all i bet

hard to say. he was fine, and actually tried to pick a fight with me and Chris after he hit us (yeah that's smart LOL), but as soon as the medics showed up was crying and screaming about his neck and back and chest, so who knows.

chances are I'm going to have some people at my firm take our cases as well

we're looking at getting another black QC for Chris to build up again, he doesn't want a redline.

why not.. ok fine i say wait about a month and you can get a sky... which is even better.. and is a good choice.. you get a 2.4 which is a lot easier to turbo or s/c then our cars... try that... you can go and put a down payment on one as soon as you want and it will be their by mid april... if not sooner

you're preaching to the wrong person dude LOL

I'm not getting rid of my car, the damage isn't bad enough to scrap it

Money is also a factor for the owner of the black QC, a redline will be more expensive, as will a Sky.

Before the wreck, his car was almost as quick as mine, which for those that know me explains why he doesn't want a Redline

don't care for the 2.4 in terms of modifying it. the VVT is going to be a headache eventually when boost comes into play anyway. there's nothing wrong with another 2.2 QC

there's a forged engine that'll be in the works for the new car right next to mine, you can almost bet on that

Vinny, glad to hear that you are alright! Downtown is fucking nuts! The wife and I don't go down there anymore because of the assholes that hang out down there.

I have driven when I shouldn't plenty of times, but I am older and wiser now, so I get drunk at home and pass out in my bed. LOL...ohh to be domesticated! Good to see that your car didn't get screwed any worst than it did!

All those damn Tourons still in the sunshine state? Spring Break starting up?

You don't want a RL? Wow, I thought you were one step away from the trade in!

Can he salvage most of his parts from the old Ion?

haha ya bastid, always with the funny jokes.

we just pulled my old HKS exhaust off of the black one, it wasn't damaged at all somehow, kinda creepy.

and a shock to me, the owner wants a Redline now (I guess considering how high his payments are it will be affordable). we're looking at a blue comp package, 05 or 06.

and, as sad as I am to say it, if I'm not happy with my car's feel after the repair, you may see a silver 06 Comp Pkg next to my posts as well

we both thought about a Cobalt, but after this whole ordeal we feel more than safe enough wrapped in some plastic.
