none that I know of, at least real progress.

Courtesy Collision of Longwood finally received the car via a tow from Geico on Tuesday this week, over a week after the accident.

I have no idea how long they'll have it, I'm expecting 2 weeks to a month at least, depending how bad my rear end is, and if there's any frame damage.

As soon as I know I'll let you guys know what's up.

Well my back is hurting too much to drive Angel's SC2, so I'm borrowing a truck from my parents, a little Ford Ranger....it's....well, it's a truck, and it sucks more gas and is slow as dog turds compared to the QC LOL

it'll do for now though.

He he, It's funnier if you end the post like that and have a sick imagination.

Man that sucks. a month to fix that and geico had the car a week. Well, I'm never switching to Geico if that is how long it takes to get your car fixed.

Yeah Dave, I've been getting run around in circles since the first day of the accident. I don't know if this is common or not, but I'm pretty pissed about it. Geico didn't have the car a week, it sat in Chris's driveway for a week and 2 days, then they finally picked it up after I called a bunch of times.

Ok now I'm pissed, I just checked the estimate, and they're mislabeling things all over the place, completely ignoring the damage to the rear torsion beam, and NOT estimating using OEM parts. Man these guys are really getting on my last nerve. I think even though I was totally profiled over at Progressive based on my car's looks, I'd rather deal with them over this horseshit.

Is this his or your insurance? I've heard quite a few things about Geico taking a while...

Schizzo,
You got profiled at progressive? I have had no problems with Progressive at all with the redline. As a matter of fact they were one of the cheapest quotes I got and they handled my mom's claims very quickly. But as soon as my policy expires I am switching to esurance.

Good luck getting the ride back in tip top shape. Make a big stink about the parts and the estimates. It's your car and they should be useing the parts you want. and that means OEM.
