i raced and crash many a time.... many... my left arm is still broken... riding on the street is like playing russian rullet... but he knows just as i do " turning is like flirting" its the best feeling in the world accelerating on a motorcycle. That is the main reason i hate cars... they dont pay attention they just think cuz there bigger they can push us around. or they dont even see us.

If he needs help with anything. tell him to give me a call 305-479-4220 if hes bord. i was when i was just siting around in the hospital flirting with the nurses.

Get better man, and save the leftover pills....

People should be required to take a vision and competancy test every year after 55 or 60. Amazes me that you can renew by mail indefinately.... Add this story to the list right by my gf's horrible accident 2 years ago (not on a bike) due to OLD PEOPLE THAT SHOULDN'T BE ON THE FUCKING ROAD....

Sue her 'till she has to go back to work. :x

HEY ALL ITS ME ON MY NICE SHINY NEW LAPTOP LOL.... im hurtin but alive... ill be down for some time for recovery.. after further investigation some severly bruised ribs and 2 hairline fractures.. on below the right elbow and one in the rear of the left ankle bone (drugged right now cant remember which ones lol) but im here.. thats what counts for the wife and baby girl... man ya this is twice in not to long.. i dont want to be done with bikes but hell... i have a new daughter to think about and she is amazing.. not sure what ill do yet, i grew up racing bikes and it will be devastating to give them up to me... i love my bikes (dare i say it here) more than my cars. and bird is right there is no other feeling in the world like being alone on the machine taking those turns at speeds near 150-170 mph... its just such a rush makes me enjoy life better .. hard to explain...

THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND PRAYERS I KNOW THEY MUCT HAVE DONE SOMETHING!!! for me to get up and be able to basically walk away with only some severe injuries is 100% some kind of miracle and i aint real religious .... i may be more now though... ill be stuck here in bed for almost 2 weeks here after tomm for the surgery for my knee, this time unfortunatly they think comes a replacement, but they will try to repair it first. fractures and rash will have to heal in their due time and i have a ton of rash. they have me using sulfdiazine on it all my wifes has to change the stuff like 3 times a day everywhere i cant reach.. she is amazing, i hope those of you who are married know how much so they are... she still stands by whatever decision i make even though she doesnt really want me to ride... i was only worried at the time about the bike i got up and made things worse by pacing back and forth till i basically couldnt and the leg just gave and i fell and lay there.. i only asked about the bike... after having some time to think i should have only thought about the wife and baby... seems to get your priorities straight after things like this, ride or no ride i dont know yet... i may not even be able to, my back after being hurt so many times not sure if ill be able to go a long way or not...

the bike well its gone my awsome orange machine the zx10r is no more... gone mangled is more of a term.. i tried to let go and slide away from the bike but my leg was caught after it hit the median curb and let loose my leg it flipped 3 or 4 times hit a building's side wall and there are just pieces now... though i do have another one available to me for sale but undecided
yet...ill try to get some pics of her not sure i can get up to scan them and the wife doesnt want to even see them... ill be here mainly online while i heal and holding my daughter so ill see you all here.. again thanks so much it meant a lot to know others think of you in those times... sorry to those whos pm's i didnt get to answer, the damn computer was down i fixed that and then this... ill get to them as i can.. they got me on morphine till i go in then i dont know what theyll give me, i hate morphine man terrible drug i would rather perc or oxy's but they dont work as good... im gonna go since i just took my nightly dose and ill be knocked out here for the night ill be on most of the day tomm.. sorry to babble but ive been dying to get online and its nive to be able to again, thanks again guys .....

glad to hear only surgery is what needed, could have been alot worse, death, paralized, loss of limb, etc. Ive gone thru what you r going thru right now, ive broken alot of bones. none on a bike because i refuse to ride nething over a small powered dirt bike lol. but ive been sidelined for my knee 4 times, elbow a couple times, bruised and battered, and floating ribs a couple of times. collarbones snap like a popsickle stick, wrist fingers, foot, toes, nose. dislocated every thing i could think of. all from bmx'in skateboarding, snowboarding, lacrosse and hockey, and from being stupid while i was young and now while i am still young but older my bones are fragile as hell.

Anyways i do not know y i just posted all of this, basically glad to hear that you will eventually be okay! But you are thinking the right way right now, family over joyrides! god forbid anything happens if you get on a bike again, it would be less income, and that could lead to further problems.

I've always wanted a bike but it is stories like this that stop me. You can be the best driver in the world but can't control what other drivers on the road do.

I'm glad to see you back on the boards Z and hope you have a speedy recovery.

Right... and of course it's not people on bikes doing 30 over the speed limit, weaving thorugh traffic, and riding the shoulder. That's never the reason for an accident. It's the 'mean old car drivers'... Bwahahahhahahahahahaha
