Satellite Head Unit...

I'm looking into getting a satellite-ready head unit (probably going the Sirius route).

See, I'd like an interface like this:

But I want it as part of the head unit, not an external unit.
(And from what I've heard, most of the head units will show only 8 characters)

Anyone know of a good head unit that will support satellite and actually show the channel/genre and maybe even the artist/title?

I have a XM ready Alpine and if there is more info than the display will hold it just scrolls across the display. It works pretty well.

Yeah, I saw the scrolly ones, but I'm trying to get as much info on screen at one time as possible. The scroll on my old MP3 CD player drove me crazy...

Check out Clarion and Pioneer, I think they may have the biggest Display. Some of the newer Eclipse units as well.

The Pioneers actually have an 8-character limit, despite the large, hi-res screen...

I think the newer Alpines have better displays than mine. Go over to Best Buy and check them out.

I never really noticed the higher-end JVCs... But they do look pretty damn good. I'm looking at the JVC KD-G820 now...
