What's up with Saturn's glass?

This is the second one I have owned and when you go into the sun, fine particles are all over the place on the windshield. Jeeze. What are they mixing the laminate with? Sand? I just thought I'd find something to bitch about.lol.

Is there a way to fix the problem? Or is it in the glass?

FYI Glass is made from super heated sand. LOL So yes, I guess they are mixing it with sand. LOL

If you are going to bitch bitch about how everything out the rear window looks like it is in front of a carnaval funny mirror. The weird squishing and streaching between the rear defogger's drives me nuts.

Sounds like fine pits/chips from sand, gravel impacts. Maybe you follow too close. Colorado cars get it really bad with the finely crushed stone they put on the roads in winter.
There is something strange on mine though. If the humidity is just right and water is condensing on the windshield you can see faint lettering in the upper corner that says "The All New Ion".
