I don't know what their capacity is up to yet, but I still don't see many solstice's around, let alone regular sky's. It will be nice for people to see the redline version more often and put the s2000/miata in its place.

it will be nice once some of us modded RL's line up with a sky RL.

id like to see how a 270 WHP RL does against a sky.

I saw an "add" in a car magazine (don't ask which, my buddy has like 6 subscriptions and I browsed them all last night) for the Sky Redline and Solstice GXP (or is it gtp..iunno, whichever) advertising them cars. They REALLY pushed the turbo and weight aspect. Didn't say how heavy, just that they were light.

Also, on the page right next to it, the new Grand Prix GXP, with a V8 pushing 303hp and 315(I think, maybe 320) lbs-ft of trq....0-60 is sub six seconds, so watch out for when those come out.

I know it stated the DoD and something about it being direct port injection or something (iunno, I was tired and more interested in finding the article on the 599 GTB in each of the magazines) but I don't remember it saying anything about Flex Fuel, but I wouldn't doubt it.

The regular 5.3 DOD engines are already out and have been available for sometime in the Monte Carlo SS, Impala SS, and Grand Prix GXP. They are rated at 303hp and are NOT flex fuel capable. The direct injection versions are in the works, but not slated to be out for a bit last I knew. The FWD 5.3 has the same bore, stroke, etc as the RWD/AWD/4x4 engine, but it has been changed to make it fit better horizontally, so I still haven't got a list of what is exactly compatable, we know so far the rods and pistons are, but that all I have confirmed.
