I may not have the RL after tomorrow...

But I'll still be having fun in an LSJ car. When I bought my redline, I wanted a Cobalt SS but I just couldn't swing the payments. With the 72 month 0% apr GM has going on now, and the GM discount I get from my grandfather, I will be able to afford the Cobalt at similar payments to my RL. As long as I get 12k for trade in, I will be the proud owner of a laser blue Cobalt by the end of the weekend.

I'm not really considering it a step up carwise, more just personal preference. I just love the looks of the SS. Being that you work at a Chevy Dealer, do you know what the GM employee discount is on a cobalt ss?

That's an odd decision, but if it makes you happy, carry on!

So you just want to pay more in the long run for basically the same car? Whatever I guess.

I'm begining to like the SS more myself. It's like a finished version of the Red Line. The more I'm around the SS's the more I notice things about them that make it a better car. If I hadn't already dumped money into modding my Red Line there is a good chance I'd take advantage of the 0% deal too.

Should be about 8% off MSRP.
