Arrow Saturn "Different"

I mentioned this in another post but no replies there so i'll say it again. After seeing the new ion(Opel astra) and the new sky (vauxhall) i'm wondering if saturn has forgot it's roots. They said the were starting a car company that was going to be unique, that they weren't just going to rebadge other cars from GM, maybe they thought we wouldn't notice if they were european. But they have got 1 GM rebadge the Relay minivan. Every GM division has a version Pontiac,Chevy, and Buick. Till Saturn truly becomes unique i think the car critics are going to give them a hard time.

the critics where allready giving saturn a hard time. the reason for the change is that saturn had low sales. instead of dumping saturn they decided to do the rebadge thing. i guess they figured that most people either dont know, or dont care if saturns are based on other gm's or not. like saab people did not like saab to be rebadged chevys. but it was either that or no saab at all.

The first Saturns where very different...My 93 Sc2 was 100% SATURN and no one else. It was designed and built in Springhill TN by only Saturn. The other thing that was unlike any other car company at the time (early 90s) was the the way the dealers where run. I have to say that with all the car companies that I have had to deal with past and present that the Saturn dealer ships of the early 90's will always stay in my mind as the most pleasent and memorable auto experiences. Ya They have changed, gradually at first but now its got good hard shove forward and I hope it is for the best....I will miss The old Saturn that is for sure...
