can we put a bigger blower on for the air ..... its getting very very fucking hot here in sac and the wife doesnt like to ride in my car no more b/c the air dont blow hard enough and its not getting cold enough either .... i took her to the dealer and had them look at it and they said that everything was fine but it sucks..... i mean its like having a battery operated hand held fan 10 feet from your face .... its driving me nuts ..... so can we actually put a bigger motor or something to push that air harder and maybe get it a little colder .....

tell the tech that looked at your car that he is out of his mind...something is wrong with it... my 06 blows like a tornado..I am in SE Texas where we have 9 month summers and mine rarely stays on 4 for more than a few minutes before I have to turn it down.

lucky ..... shit i feel maybe a little bit cooler after driving like 1 hr ..... its like its outta ac shit but after the outside cools down some it starts to work better but it still blows really softly espically compared to my wifes 03 vue ... shit i have to hold on to my hat or it would blow off

is there a cabin filter or something that could be causeing the air not to flow fast enough or something that could be going out to make it feel like its on 2 instead of 4?

and BTW this is useing both non-rec. air and rec. air

There is a cabin filter behind the glove box. Make sure it is not cloged.

Yea my '06 will freeze even my son in the back seat when it is 95F outside. Killer cold and blows like holy cow

There is something wrong....it has been 90ish with above 90% humidity and my ac kicks ass

My A/C kicks also, so yeah, you got a problem. And the tech's being lazy or an idiot or both. Usually I see more problems with junk getting into vents and the blower motor area when a car does not have a cabin filter than I do when it does. And then, you've got the nests the nasty mices like to make.

Only when it was 90/90 did I think it could blow colder. Even then, it just took about 20 mins to get good and cold and cool the car off.

PC, try keeping the windows up after the car's been on for about 5 min, and run it on the 'Recirc' mode, it will cool better than trying to cool the hot air from outside.

...also make sure that the setting is on top vents only...not the top and floor vent setting, that seems to cut the flow by 89%. There has to be a larger blower motor that you can Jerry-rig to fit in there somhow...you might also want to have the techs check the A/C condensor thinggy (whatever the f-ck that thing is that holds the freon) and make sure that it is full and not broken. Both my parents Chevy Astro vans (one was a lemon) had problems with the condensor not working properly, after they re-filled the condensors the A/C worked 200% better.
