For those who don't know, the threads for the national meet were closed. We decided it was a dead issue and it was getting a little to heated. So after a few things were said, people calmed downed a bit and came to an agreement, mgm put in the post to have the mederators closed the thread. (we are talking the location thread). Aeain closed the thread, and also the thread about the meet in genereral. So nothing more needed to be said. We could start over fresh. With new attitudes.

BUT then Spooner just had to go and sound off. The issue was dead, but because he has the ability to get one last word in, he went for it. In a completely unprofessional and untactful way. Amazing. Have to get the last word in didn't you Spooner? The thread is closed, so noone else can give any rebuttle. But since you are a moderator, you can open it back up, give your 2 cents and close it before anyone can say anything else. You want to talk about BS. That is it right there. And an abuse of power.

Hell the only reason I think the entire damn meet is in jeoporody is because you got annoyed that no one asked you your opinion. Did we upset you that no one asked your all mighty moderator opinion so that you can get it out there and all the newbs on the forums and all the tools out there can be in awe of you your moderatorshipness. You are acking like you are the damn high school quarter back, and noone is asking you to the prom. So you are getting all your little buddies to bash the entire idea cause they want to be cool like you. Who the hell do you think you are? No one has to explain a damn thing to you. I am sure as hell not going to explain anything to you about how it went down, because you weren't involved, and you came off way too pushy. You just basically came into the game half way in the 4th inning and decided you were going to be the couch. And when the palyers didn't listen to you, you turned the fans on us.

And your little list of what needs to get down. Well we did it. Sure it was short. But anyone who could have contributed spoke up. And that wasn't you. So are you going to do all the work Spooner? Are you going to put up the cash? You bitch and moan but aren't willing to actually do anything about it other than bash good people for doing a good thing simply because you are upset that no one asked you to be involved and no one felt they had to give you any kind of an explaination. You should have just supported, lent a hand, been grateful someone would do all the work, put up the money, and take the time, instead of being a complete ass hole about the whole thing. (Did you ever see Million Dollar Baby? Your acting like her mom in that film)

These are my opinions. I am sure his mighty moderator ship will delete this thread as soon as he sees it so that noone else can give an opinion or read what I have to say. I don't even care if anyone responds cause I don't give a damn. But I just wanted everyone out there to know what a prick Spooner was about the whole thing. But I am sure everyone is going to take Spooners side and the responce will be to close/delete this thread and then think of banning me or something. You know Spooner, that democratic process you hold so dear to your heart.

I am also putting to a motion that you not be a moderator anymore, due to your abuse of power. You can't have one moderator close a thread in order to keep the peace and then have another one open it when that moderator gets upset by it and has a personal stake in it. If one moderator closes it then IT SHOULD BE CLOSED. FROM EVERYONE. TOO MANY CHIEFS WHO DO NOT COMMUNICATE>

chill, seriously, it's behavior like this that makes the arguments get out of hand. So just count to ten, or take a deep breath, or what ever works for you, but just relax. Sp00ner's a good moderator. Even if what he did here was a little uncalled for, he is still a really good moderator.

Everyone just needs to back off the subject for a while. All your doing in stirring the pot more. If you really wanna see some shitty mods, head over to css.net!

PS)I'm not gonna even comment on what I thought about the other thread other than things were moving too quickly, weather you were doing the right or wrong thing, it was too fast

I nominated Spooner to be a moderator. I voted for him. I know he is a good moderator. I think he does a fantastic job. Right up until there is something personal he doesn't like. He was nothing on this forum years ago when most of you didn't even have a redline. But I think he has gone to far

Good luck on the meet idea. Good luck getting a group of people to decide on anything. Everyone is gonna want the meet in their backyard, that way they don't miss work, burn miles, etc...

No Offense to anyone, and I didn't read the thread, but, as RLinBatonRouge said, people are all going to want it close to them. Only solution I see is to plan it with another car meet, IE HIN or Nopi or something.

This thread IS NOT ABOUT THE MEET. I don't give a shit about the meet anymore. I just wanted to get my opinion out there on Spooner's actions durring the meet planning process. Since he reopened the old thread and posted his opnion and then closed it again, I just started this one.

I'm thinking small regional meets. Anytime you have someting national, there is no vote on where it is. It's just there. Come if you want to.
