LSJ motor in Vue

I love my redline ion and I now have the opprutunity to supercharge a Vue.
I just bought a 2003 Vue with a bad VTI transmission from a Saturn dealer for $2900.

Even though I have a low mileage spare 2.2 ecotec and VTI transmission from a earlier Vue V6 conversion project I am tempted to drop in the complete LSJ drivetrain I just picked up!

Has anyone tried this yet?

Is custom half shaft fabrication expensive (I have both the LSJ and the Vue shafts to piece together)?

Will I run into BCM /PCM interface problems or do I just run the PCM standalone?

Dude, Can you say LS1? That'd be a badass swap.

Well, I have seen this done before, about 4 years ago. Actually, it was the 1st LSJ I have ever seen.

they have AWD with the gay ass v6 honda engine, but it already has 250hp, so LSJ would be worse! That would be a hard swap anyways. The 4cyl to LSJ would be pretty eay thouhg.. as far as swaps go.

how bout this... because the vue is kinda light as far as 'suv's go (it's a unibody) Someone should turbo the v6, AWD, RL version! DAMN that would rock!!

AWD would be difficult, I dont believe GM has a manual transaxel setup for the Ecotec that permits a rear output shaft (all 4cyl and V6 AWD Vues have slushboxes). Since the redline Ion tranny is built to handle the power and I have the complete drive train I would go FWD.

I would think the lighter LSj and 5 speed would be fairly even with the 250HP slushbox honda.

However the LSJ would be far more fun to drive shifting through the gears with boost!

The V6 Vues haul ass... I test drove one before I got my RL, and stock for stock it would be REAL close.
