is there ANY production vehicle that does 0-60 faster than 1.67? hayabusa doesn't even do in under 2 i don't believe, and even if there were numbers of that v8 bike (which idon't think there are?) i don't think that could even match it.


solmething just seems REALLY off with that whole thing. there's almost no information on that site, almost seem slike a school project or something

Nothing has been confirmed, those are "tests" and if you notice on their site when it says 0-60 it doesn't state mph or kph...

You have to remember when the Veyron first came out, before anyone got their hands on it people were claiming sub 1.5s 0-60 times and a top speed of 260+mph [got close, but didn't get there...the GT model is to hit 273 though]. Not one of these people were from VW or Bugatti though.

So ya, wait for REAL tests.

Also, through in some luxury and see if it can still beat the Veyron...the thing weighs that of a small work truck and still smokes basically everything but a drag car.

well first off, bugatti's explanation of the their limit of top speed, it's because of the tire technolgoy, and it's limited to what sub 250 mph?? and somehow this car mysteriously has space age technology that allows them to make another 20 mph???

so that's the start.

then the complete lack of material like you said, just think about how fast that is. I'm not even certain if it's currently physically possible for a car to pull that off? I'm sure maybe there's a drag car out there somehwere, but that's REAL REAL fucking fast. The car would have to weigh as little as an elise, if not less to even remotely pull that off.

also how is it bugatti needed a w16, etc etc to pull of their numbers, and somehow a dual turbo v8 is able to pull off ridiculously better numbers?


The top speed is the only factual foundation I have for calling BS, but the lack of information is why I call BS on the rest.

Does anyone know of any car PERIOD that runs even remotely that fast?

This is some kind of joke. That 0-60 doesn't seem attainable for a street car. I'm sure it's fast but it's a twin-turbo Chevy mouse. How many companies have already done that? It said coil-on-plug, too, but it sure looked like a reg. distributor & plug wires to me...
