Tragedy!!!!

Yeah so I pulled the ported s/c off yesterday night to go back to stock before the big dyno. Low and behold, I see what I would call excessive wear on the s/c blades. I snap about 10 pictures and send them to Dyno Bob for review, who agrees with me that it is excessive. Most likely shipping damage, but they are going to take care of it and fix it. So back into the box tomorrow and she's going to go back home for a few days. One day I'll get this dyno done.....

Got them at home. PM email address and I'll shoot them over when I get home. I could feel a SLIGHT tight spot in the shaft when I would spin it, but nothing that I though was too bad. I guess I was wrong. Anyhow, I have to play it safe on this one. There is always the possibility of the blades breaking and that would be very bad. Stegemeir is being really cool about it though. I'll ship it back out tomorrow or Saturday. Oh well, at least it's going to get fixed, right?

yeah I noticed that, but I also remembered reading this thread Stiegemeier Eaton Supercharger Rebuild Procedure where they said they check all the units for wear and rub during the process, so I figured it must have been done somewhere else.

He got this part used from another member, so I didn't just come back from Steig's that way.
