This was posted under the thread about which hood style would look best from yesterday or the day before I think.

I'd take a fiberglass hood even, as long as it was functional and benefited the cooling of the car.

It would seem that it would benefit the car more if the scoop brought the air over the blower but I think that most of the aftermarket hoods will be more for aesthetics than function.

Maybe to force some cooler, fresh air down over the header to get some of the hot/stagnant air outta there through the bottom of the engine

I think I might have to just go with the plain vanilla C/F hood, that's all we have available so far right? If they don't come out with somethin' better by the time they make a c/f deck-lid (if that would just hurry the FU) I don't really care about scoops and vents if they are just for show, I would only want functional stuff.
