Arrow Test drove a sky redline today!

I went up to my dad's dealership to see why the check engine light came on and sure enough p0171!Spooner I need a custom tune soon. But anyways i get up there and here comes my dad rolling up in the new sky redline! I was like sweet can I take it for a drive? He's like sure so I test drive it and man it's pretty damn quick. The shifts are so short and the clutch is alot stiffer than our's.The seats are sweet got the redline logo in them i'm so jealous. Whats also so cool is the hood pop's like a corvette! The turbo is right there on the passenger side you can get to it with no problems. I have to say it's a pretty cool as roadster.Oh yea the damn check engine light came right back on after i cleared the code probably because i beat on it as soon as i left.

I kept getting that code when I found a leak in my vacuum hose for my boost gauge, you mat want to check all your lines.

BTW, thats awesome, I would love to drive one, but I don't think I could ever buy one. Just not economical for me being a drummer and all.

07 Redline, you don't by chance have a breather hooked up to the PCV instead of the tube running to the intake do you? Because low and behold, that whole system has to remain in vacuum, and if you throw breather on there then the vacuum is broken. Even if you plug up the end that goes into the intake...

Sure enough, that was my problem all along..

If you have the ladder tach, there won't be one. It ties directly into the PCM. I had an aftermarket boost gauge, and the line ended up cracking and broke. But if you do have one, if you look at you supercharger well. . .here, this is better.

There will be a third duct going towards the cabin (if you have one) If it is leaking, you are going to have to plug your line back in, or just cap it. Thats what I did. But I ended up buying the ladder tach, just because i liked how clean it looks.
