Arrow 05' Ion RedlLine Cold Air Intake

Anybody out there ever heard of "Short Ram Intake Secret Weapon" brand of cold air intakes for the Ion? Want to get one and doing some perusing around the web, found this besides the K & N and others. Would appreciate any info ya'll.

the stock intake setup is essentially a cold air as it is. IMO unless the aftermarket one yer looking at is the same, there's no point in changing it out and risking heat soak.

its only good for a couple of horse power, i would invest you money somewere else, if you really want one then try to get the fujita, its the best on the market trust me on this

I say FU** it change it out the blower will be louder FTW!!!!!

seriously though as these guys have already said the stock air intake system is pretty much a factory cold air set up. one could argue though that the factory ducting has ripples in the design of the tubing which slows down the air flow into the engine.... this and the air filter, is where the aftermarket CAI is more then likely benificial when it comes to the increased performance over the stock unit. ( not that theres alot of performance to gain.) Like I said alot of people on here get the CAI strictly for the increased supercharger noise.

dont fuck with the short ram bullshits... get the K&N, the scream you get from teh blower with the K&N is worth the extra money alone.

Does Injen make a cold air intake? I just put one on my buddies SS/SC and i like the way it was designed. I checked there website and it didn't have one listed, so i e-mailed them and i got this "Thank you for your interest, I will forward this to the R&D department".
