RL Ion and Cobalt SS Front Sway Bar????

Does anyone know if the Front Sway Bar on a Cobalt SS is the same as for the Ion RL? I'm buying one from someone that says it is but I need to know for sure. Please message or email me soon. Thanks.

*edit* it's early...my bad, lol. I was wrong when I said that I believe it depends on what year car you are looking at. =)

iirc none of the cobalt strut braces will fit any RL regardless of year. just look at a picture of the RL engine bay and the cobalt bay... the tops of the strut towers are completely different.

so i would say no, it will not fit your RL

CSS's have the normal 3 bolt strut bolt pattern, RL's have this one big bolt. It is not going to happen.

If anyone chose to read the question, you missed the fact that it says SWAYBAR. Not strut tower brace. Two completely different things.

Now, to somewhat help with the question....I know that the Ion bars are all transferable, however, it is quite possible that the Cobalt bar is not compatible. I think you are pretty much in completely new territory.

The guy doesn't know what he's talkin' about. I'm not positive about Cobalts but I know WE don't have front sway bars. He's got to be talkin' about strut bars.

yeah only thing i've seen for our fronts is strut bars and bwoody tractions. Sways are available for the rear on the RL but i've never heard of a front sway.
