Okay, so boost > compression. So why would one go with the 10.5:1 pistons? How would timing affect psi?
Anyone you ask will give you a different answer on this.
I plan to go to a 10:1 compression, run a small pulley and replace the head gasket. I'll be running close to 20lbs of boost, but the car will use it more efficently (higher compression) and be able to hold it.
But yeah, every body will have a different explaination.

You can have them coated its optional and the prices arent to bad to add it on either.
yeah but whats the prices because in order for it to Be quote Not to bad it would have to be well under 200 bucks for all 4. otherwise you might as well but intenses piston if your going with the 10.0 :1

the fact that they are already coated is what already has me sold on the intense pistons. and i wont be ordering for some time... but arent they the same ones that alpha said you would need to have your rods machined for the pins if you stick with stockers that is? or is that gonna be the case with all the diamond pistons?

I think alpha got a set of bunk pistons when i say bunk i mean the fact that the pins wouldnt fit. i wouldnt know forsure though.
