That's where I stopped reading. The last thing I need is another "celebrated customer experience" from Saturn.

?? Don't remember your whole story, but sounds like you just need to try a different dealer.

Honestly, I think most people just turn those nose up at the mention of the customer experience because they generalize and think "well, they might have good Customer Service, but their cars are crap." Now that Saturn has some great vehicles in the line-up, perhaps people will come to realize the great CS that's been there all along.

(Granted, there's also stupid dealers out there, a la ones who charge $5k mark-up for SKYs)

Off-Topc: Superman...I wanna ride in your SKY RL when it warms back up!

Back on Topic: The Pontiac G8 was released! At least that looks impressive! I'm watching Australian V8 Supercar Racing right now (way it should be in America) and the Commodore (G8) is soooo sexy...

commadore = sexy
g8 = not so much

I know it's the same car, but the looks just don't do it for me. But that's a discussion for another topic

UPS...Brown is on your side if you can get a Commodore front end shipped to the US...

As for the Astra...who knows...maybe they'll release it late...like 9 months after the base model comes out.

Not to piss in your cocopuffs but 140 hp from a 1.8 is not impressive at all. Base model Integras since 94 have had 1.8s with 140 hp. And many other cars have variable length intake runners. The Neon RT/ACR, Sentra SE-R, GSR and Focus SVT just to name a few.

I didn't say it was the greatest engine ever, just not bad. Better than the L61 at least in my mind.

Sentra SE-R has decent torque. Probably more torque than a stock RL IIRC.
