LSJ vs A855

This is an age old debate (if 4 years can be called that), so let's not get into which car is "better".

Forget about the cars, forget the S/C and the Turbo and who is easier to upgrade.

Higher displacement, higher compression yes, but what is giving the SRT engine it's legendary status? What's going on in there that allows it to accept such great power on stock internals while ours assumably fails?

Pretty much is the pistons and headgaskets. If you take away those two things, the only real difference is the displacement. Seriously, tear them both down, they are almost identical.

PS- I don't know of any drag SRT's putting down 1400 horses, though. lol.

GM's got plenty of Ecotecs capable of that.

I figured that much. I was just implying the neons running 190+ mph are probably making close to that 1400hp mark.
