Do you mod yourself, or pay for install?

I was just curious how many of you guys install your performance parts yourself, or pay to have it professionally installed.

All done by me, myself and I. I'm a professional Saturn/GM tech though too so I can't really find a good reason to pay someone else that I probably don't trust with my car... Closest thing would be one of the 2 other people I let work on my car help me, both of which are techs that work with me...

I install the 'simple' modz (ie....intake, throttle body, strut tower brace). For now I have saturn do my heavy modz until I get more familiar doing these type modz (school & other learning opportunities)

I use to always pay someone else to for the work on my car, but then i started buying tools, and getting involved in install days, i started learning about the car, you quickly learn how things go together, and infact you start memorizing how to dismantel the cars, even knowing the wrech sizes per bolt. By the end of having my car, i had done my own clutch, turbo swaps, full suspension swaps. The only thing i didn't get involved with was electrical/radio installs.

I'll do simple to average jobs myself like turbo swaps, exh. manifolds, SC pullies, springs, shocks, exhausts (even though I hate doing it), fluid changes..

the only jobs I never do are clutches, alignments, tires, and anything that involves engine/transmission removal. I don't have the tools or space for things like that.
