I'm pretty proud of my almost instant witty comeback on this one too.

He says to me, "Why would i want to drive your car, It's just a Scion with out the SC." I replied "What the fuck are you talking about, the S/C is under the hood instead of on the rear bumper."

He laughed and admitted defeat. He's a good friend just jokingly giving me a hard time. He actually loves my car but i thought the comeback was pretty funny.

scion ... the sc is under the hood rather than on the back bumper, aka the badge

holy jesus i didn't think i'd have to spell this one out to car people. what happens if you take the Sc off of Scion... you get, ready for it, ION. Now what do we normally abbreviate the SuperCharger to instead of typing the fullword out... i'll give you a clue. the letters are in capitals. perhaps maybe SC. So in stead of having the SC attached to the rear bumper and spelling out SCION, we only have ION on our rear bumper and the SC is underneathe the hood in the form of a SuperCharger.

Our car was made by GM, not Toyota. What are you talking about? And in both of those names there is not one "/" character so I don't understand the whole s/c thing.
