I'm back and with another RL!!!

Hey guys, what's up?

Yeah...got another RL but this time it isn't an IRL and unfortunately it isn't a SRL either. Got a nice black 08 VUE RL.

I picked it up on Saturday and finally signed on Monday. Granted 08 VUE's don't come with a sunroof (crappy), the dealership had some on the lot that already had them installed so I picked one of them up along with it already having tint on the front windows.

The black leather with black suede is sooooo nice. I love the 6 speed auto and when I floored it on the on-ramp while test driving...the car had no problem hitting 6300rpm and so smoothly shifting into the next gear. The manual mode is also nice, but I haven't used it merely as much as I thought I would.

BTW...don't mind the mess in the garage. Still settling into the house and removing tons of cabinets that were up in the garage and going to paint.

Now you just gotta get the supercharger kit from double_d99. Make it a real redline. Good to see ya back.

New pics added...I decided to emphasize the fact that Saturn put the RL symbol on the tach...as they should have on the IRL.

I'll get more photos up tomorrow or so when I get more pictures with my camera...the pictures on my phone can only take it so far.

Supercharger kit? Is it for the current engine though?

I was thinking immediately with one of my friends at work that something needs to go in there...whether it be a ProCharger, custom STS Turbo kit or something. Not sure if a roots blower will fit in there.

As far as bad ass as interior styling and everything...yes. Performance is great for what it is, but I would have been happier had they used the direct injection with different pistons like Cadillac has in the new CTS and STS. It would have made it more of a RL. The 18s on it are nice...might have gone with something different but they will definitely do with winter coming up.

I saw the 08 VUE when they came out and thought the interior space would suck. I was wrong. It is large in there and I fit very comfortably in the back seat with the driver seat in the position I had it in when I first drove it.

The ride and handling are excellent. Know a couple places with some good bends and it did great out there. Hugged amazingly and didn't feel like it was even close of tipping over.

My lease on the GP was up so I agreed to get something that would be suitable for a family car. This car was definitely suitable for that, but had the looks and everything I wanted to stay content with it.

When my wife's G6 GT Convertible is up on it's lease...I get whatever I want...09 Vette.
