GM Engineers to my Redline: No it's okay, you don't even need that bolt.

So yesterday I tore the transmission out of my car to put the clutch in today and split the load between two days instead of all at once. I pulled the entire fusebox/frame/pcm out to remove this one bolt (it's about a 15 minute job to get the fusebox out, but still) only to find:

It's not even THERE! Lol. Way to go GM, you never cease to amaze me. Also, here's a pic of the clutch about to be installed:

Unsprung, undamped, unweighted = all kinds of fun trying to drive on the street haha.

Also, here is my VERY last dyno graph from the car with a blower on. The reading is a little blurry, but it comes in at 335whp @ 6118rpm and torque was 349 ft.lbs. @ 3650rpm. The blower comes off this week to make room for the Borg Warner S285 :-)

How bout...no. Lol. Plus you will also require a strengthened tranny. These pucked clutches do NASTY things to stock FWD transmissions lol.

But no worries, I have three spare LSJ engines here with all the bolts and such. I just pulled one of the bolts from one of them to use.

Well one is actually a 2.4 from a place here that does V8s in Solstice/Skys that I bought with like 90 miles on it, one is out of a Cobalt SS, one is my own engine, and one is my spare engine.
