Cheap & easy dent fix

Fixing a dent with an air-duster and a hair dryer.

Has anybody tried this?

This should help out you Cobalt guys.
I know this would not work on the body panels on the Ion because of the
dent resistant plastic, but it should work on any dents on the hood or the roof.

A buddy of mine tried this on his RX-7, but it didn't work too well. I guess it's really good for bigger dents, but not so much for the really small ones.

I like how it doesn't cause any "dommage" to paint, and how you're supposed to watch the ice "dissapear." LOL.

I've never even thought about using this to fix dents, but that compressed air will loosen frozen lug nuts! The cold makes the metal contract and a rusty, nasty lug will come right off with no problem.

I work in a body shop, and have tried/seen just about every technique around. they will all work on the "perfect dent", it has to be a smooth dent with do creases or wrinkles in the metal, with no stretching or folds, like when a basketball hits the middle of a hood. This type of dent can be easily popped out with a toilet plunger.

Yeah, just hold the can upside down like in the video and coat the lug with it for a few seconds. Give it a minute or two to do its thing and try taking it off. It worked like a charm for me. I keep a can in the trunk now, in the milk crate that has my rags, detailer, lug wrench, etc.
