My stocker fucked up and wouldn't tighten. Be ready for the check engine light.

Hey it could have been worse, the locking cap could have refused to be removed!

Very true that would suck more. But I just put on the stock gas cap. No CEL on the drive home to get the stocker thankfully.

I wonder how much of that expensive fuel spilled out on the way home.

Here is a secret I can remove any locking gascap from any car with out the key. I know I bought the locking one from saturn lost my key and thought I was fucked till I learned that all you have to do to open it is........ well if you want to know p.m. me and I will let you know. locking gas caps are a rip off and are only needed in older cars. You can not siphon gas out our tanks thanks to a little flaper in the tank.

So that little flapper makes it so you can't stick a tube down into the tank? So how do you put gas in your car? I put a metal tube in my car and it puts gas in. By the way. Look at all the Outlooks. Not a single one has said flapper.

As with anything, if a thief wants something bad enough, they'll find a way to get it. Why do people put car alarms on their cars? There's a way around them too if you're determined and skilled enough to circumvent it. It keeps the small time crooks searching for the quick steal. If I was looking for gas, I would pass up the locked gas cap for the unsecured tank.

there is a screen, down the filler neck close to the tank. only way gas can be stolen is if that screen is broken.
