The difference between my IAT1 and IAT2's are sometimes 60*. That's what makes me think it's either air in the lines still or the pump going out. I'll replace the pump over the winter when the car is stored and see what happens, while also installing option B.

oh for sure you have something going on then for sure. 60 is wayyyyy to much of a difference for sure. have you done the bleeding thru the stock h/e???

if not...a lot of people don't know where it is......if you take your passenger headlight all of the way out....look at the top of the stock h/e....you'll see a nut there.....take it all the way out and start pouring in the filler neck. wait for all the bubbles to come out. when it's only coolant coming out it's fully bled....put the nut back and fill up the filler neck....good to go

if that doesn't work....i'd def call it a bad pump!

The bottom of the CA HE I have has a bleeder screw as well. I started with that one and then moved my way to the OEM HE. No bubbles. I'll be replacing the pump over the winter just to make sure, better safe then sorry.

Bubbles usually rise my friend, you'll have to do the other bleeder valve too.

why not just test it? Crank your car up and pinch the right tube on the filler neck. If it rises or bubbles it is working. If it stays the same then you got nothing.

That's just it, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, being intermittent. Which is why I think it's going bad and will replace it.

I've took a look at it when I installed my HE. Shouldn't be more then an hour or two to replace it in my driveway on jackstands.
