Wing Swap

Im swapping my low pro for an aero and the guy wants me to buy the gasket for the wing. I thought it was just glued down? I was just going to run some silicone around it and bolt it down when I get it. He wants the gasket so does anyone know where i can buy it?

It's basically just a big piece of double stick tape. IDK, where you can find it that wide. I work in a body shop, and we never see it that big, we just use the stuff on a roll. Maybe try an autobody supply or try searching 3M products. Here it is, probably going to be a little expensive for a roll that wide. There is a kit that you can buy from Saturn that has all of the tape and screws that you will need. It's about $40. I have one with the pieces you need but I am out of town and won't be home for another 2 weeks.

Yea, but it's 3m that is shaped for the underside of the wing. If you don't space it out right then the wing will actually hit the trunk in spots. The kit is actually for ALL of the screws and tape to put the wing together, not just the mounting to the trunk. If you can wait, I can look for that kit when I get back home.
