my $.02, probably not relevant but anyways. We have an aftermarket, its just not as large some other vehicles. As I stated before we purchased a new model sport compact from a manufacturer that normally builds economic family style vehicles. Interpret as needed. Also saturn is not an advertiser, I didn't even know the redline existed until I was at the dealer getting a MAF for the wifes l300. The dealer wasn't open yet so looked around a shinny black car is like finding a gold brick, I was instantly drawn to it. thats when I found out it was supercharged. I wouldn't have even thought about buying it if it wasn't 4000 of the sticker to start. but anyways. I think the biggest complaint is the lack of engine tunability. If that was available I don't think there would be half the complaints on these forums about power.

I had to have my rear bumper replaced. The body shop had no problem getting it from the dealer, well they did but that is another story

Very very true there.

I got a story that will hopefully develop more in the next couple of months: So I was back in my college town this past weekend visiting some friends before I go back there for school in a few weeks (U. of Michigan - Ann Arbor if you're wondering where). The house I stayed at was filled with 11 girls (5 or so there at the time since it's summer). When I got there, I was hanging out in one of the living rooms watching tv, when one of the girls (never met her before, or any of the other girls for that matter), she was packing up her things to go home for the weekend. She took her stuff to her car, and came back up and asked me if that was my RL. Hells yes it is. She really liked it, and actually knew what the car was about. My kinda girl .
The kicker:
Her dad is an engineer for GM and helped design the car. How sweet is that? Now I don't know what part of the car he worked on (since different people work on many different small things). But hopefully I will hang out at the house on a regular basis, and be able to talk to this girl, and eventually get to talk to her dad about the car. Talk about an inside source.

Ask him if they have all their engineers in seperate rooms working on different things for the same car on different pages.
