I just looked up new vettes today because I thought they only cost like 40k, nope not even close. They are all 60k or more! I could get a used one but....not the same.

They had a '98 when I got the '77 Vette. This was 2001. They wanted $18,500 for the Vette, and it had 80,000 miles on it. I want one bad, but not that bad.

I would take one that is a year or so old. Not much more. Easier to haggle them down on it too.

maybe they are selling for that RIGHT NOW, but they are start at 44.5k, the new Z06 sticker price is set at 65K

thats what I thought! I remembered hearing that the new zo6 was about 70k so I was shocked to see the base c6 for 60-70k! I guess its just hype right now. On another not I have seen some used c5 zo6's for under 30
