Just join.....Hi!!

I just want to introduce myself and say Hi.
I use to on a 1993 Saturn SL a couple of years ago, with a few mods.
but had sold it to buy a 90 Eclipse GSX with some basic mods.
and then that car broke down, so it was sold. Since then I have been
wanting to get a SRT-4, but need to save some cash for down payment.
I have heard about the redline ION and I am really surprise that Saturn is coming out with a supercharge sports car. and if for some reason I decide to not get the SRT-4 ( which is very unlikely) I wouldn' mine having a Saturn redline ION.

Saturn cars are very dependable cars, but are very slow, and don't have
too many aftermarket parts for performance.
I use to be on some saturn forums back then, and know what is out there, unless you had the money to rebuilt a motor and turbocharge
the car, then you could have a fast low 14's sec car.

I am glad there another domestic company out there competing for the
compact cars, I am kinda of tired the imports getting all in the way.
Mitsu, honda, nissan, toyota, you know what I am talking about.
even though I am driving a honda civic, just until I get a SRT-4.

anyways, just thought I will say hi.

Angry

i have to say, for a car it's price, the saturns have pretty good engines. they put out more horsies than my friend's 99 celica gt convertible. but then again, so does my contour.

I liked the way they looked, but no power.

my friend bought a 99 celica, and my friend's caravan (95ish i think) outran it. it was funny. my contour would outrun it if it were lighter.

You must not have looked at Saturn performance parts lately, actually there's quite a bit of stuff out for them. There's Saturns in the 12's now.
