Missing my RL

Well after gettting my back glass smashed in two weeks ago, I had to take it to get the interior fixed up this week. I had the glass done right away. My insurance company, progressive, wanted me to bring my car to their service center, where they would do the estimate and send it to a shop and I would just have a rental while the work is done. Well, I took my car in on monday and they called today to tell me it wont be done till late friday or monday, depending on when the parts get in. This is killing me driving my rental Camry all week. I WANT MY RL BACK!!!

I dont understand how it makes sense for progressive to do things this way. Its not like my car wasnt driveable. I couldve gotten an estimate on my own, kept my car until they got the parts in, and maybe needed a rental for a day. instead, progressive is paying for a rental for me now for 5-7 days.

Amazing how much damage a piece of concrete can do when it doesnt even touch the body. the glass was 420, and the interior work (roof liner was ripped, panel behind back seat, and quarter plastic panel by door need replaced) was estimated at 700 some. Over 1100 in damage. Glad i have $100 deductible for Comprehensive claims.

I have progressive as well. I have never made an insurance cliam with them. Other than being without the car for a few days how are they with getting things done?

BTW if you don't mind how much are you paying for your policy?

They have been great to deal with and really quick response time. Doubt this will affect my premiums, but if it does, it won't be for another 6 months (happened in the last month of my policy and they had already done the renewal process, and they wont adjust during your policy).

I live in pittsburgh and I pay about 105/month. I'm 23 and have a clean driving record.

I switched to Progressive after 21st Century discovered what a Red Line was and raised my rates by $800 a year.

Although Progressive's rate was still $200 more than what I was paying 21st before they got smart to my Red Line, I know that what I'm paying at Progressive is for the Red Line since that model was in the list of cars for Saturn.

No claims yet. I pay about the same over here.

Going to pick up the RL finally after 8 days. Took forever to get the parts in of course. I had to drive my roommates SRT 4 this weekend for a speed fix, haha.
