Arrow I hate snow!

Ok its going to happen not to soon but soon enough. Since I just got my rl this summer i havnt hit snow yet. Hows it handle? Also can put just two snow tires in the front and leave the stock dunlops z rated on the rear, or will htey freeze up considering there strictly summer tires, also how do those crome wheels hold up with the salt.

Well I wouldn't leave "summer z rated" tires on for winter on the back. They'd slide out REAL easy around a corner (trust me, I had all 4 on in 2 inches of snow...dumb idea). Also, OUR WHEELS ARE NOT CHROME! They are polished aluminum(spelling?). And I think it'd be MUCH easier to buy steelies with winter tires on them for easy fast swapping throughout the year.

QUITE YOU! I have to deal with -50C weather (with no wind...which never happens) and basically 5 feet of snow on my driveway in a day. Trucks love it here, where as cars have to fight to live. My RL has a BIG task to live up to my cavy. It drove through a 9 foot high, 10 foot long snow bank and kept going. What a beast.

I had mine thru last winter. If there is snow on the ground forget about 1st gear. Your tires will just spin until you melt enough snow to get to the pavement. You will also have a tourque steer of sorts. I always started moving the front end to the right when from a stop. Drive slow. BAsically our cars suck in the snow.

Oh and I love the snow.

Yeah you def want to swap your tires for winter, the dunlops will NOT get you out of your driveway.

Well, yea they will, just with A LOT of effort and time. It took me 5 minutes to drive a block . 1st gear is non-existant and 2nd gear is pretty bad if there is ice. 3rd gear is nice till you hit boost (which I mean about 3 grand...don't step on it, you go no where real fast).

Yea, buffalo does get snow. How much does it get? I mean, like not snow storms as those are just, well, weird, but like actual snow fall a week. Like you have to shovel daily to get vehicles out, or shovel weekly just to keep snow off the driveway.
