Arrow I hate snow! 2

Ok here is the deal Tire Rack said, based on my RL that 16 inch steel with four 205/55/16 blizzaks would be ideal for 600 bucks mounted and balanced. Great deal but can i do a thinner tire and smaller wheel. If you knew about sizing is that the middle # "55" is the aspect ratio, or side wall length. Which is larger to compesate for the smaller rim-16.So in reality is it really that smaller? 215/45/17 dunlop grasspiks with a cheap aluminum wheel would run you 900 from tire rack, what shall I do?

The diameter of the 205/55x16 tire is actually larger then the 215/45x17 by 1.1%. That really is not a lot. I like using this calculator by the way. Makes it real easy to compare sizes.

I bought 195/55/R16 last winter for mine (not sure at 110% but i could check this week end). My mecano said that's a most standard wheel size so it a bit cheaper
