I think I'm going to let the car go. New York has a stupid f'ing law requiring me to put brand new airbags in the car. And the hoops that I would have to jump through to bring it back from salvage seem to be too much. The car wouldn't be worth much with a salvaged title, and I'm sure I would have over $2000 trying to get it back on the road. Just isn't worth the risk/hassle. What a shame. I was planning to go FE5 control arms, and griffin intercooler and drop to a 2.7" pulley.
This is a large part of the reason why I keep my car tucked away in the garage. These cars are too few and far between and my Father took very good care of it when he owned it.
