Can any one tell me how to get the stearing wheel off of a 2007 ion quade coupe?

If you have to ask. Probably a bad idea to try and take it off.

The SIR coil is easy to screw up..

Disconnect battery, remove airbag fuse.

On each side of the wheel there is a hole. Put small screwdriver in both sides to pop off airbag. Disconnect all wiring harnesses.

21mm socket removes the center bolt from the hub, then use a steering wheel puller to pull the wheel off the hub.

remove air bag by pressing in the spring levers through the hole in the side of the steering wheel one eaach side. u use a pick, but a tiny flat head screw driver with the flat side horizontal one each side will help. you press the spring wire in and the air bag unit pops out. you must disable the airbag first by removing the fuse and the actuator connection at the front of the car, then with the air bag out, then you can unplug the connector. reach in and disconnect the cruise horn etc connectors. the clock spring is important in the whole turn signal assembly, once the steer ing wheel is off dont disturb the assembly
then undo the nut for the steering wheel. use a flat plate puller, threading into the threaded holes in the steering wheel hub and then turn the puller center nut to pull it off.
the steering column has a master spline so hard to put it back wrong
