Feeling pretty lucky today...

So I posted about a month ago about my first ticket in the RL. I got it in Virginia on my way to myrtle beach, doing 90 in a 65. it was a wreckless driving ticket. So I had to go to court to have the fine set by the judge. Keep in mind I had to go down from Pittsburgh, about 300 miles. I was thinking about skipping it and they would just find me guilty and set the fine. Well, I went down today. Sat there and saw all the cases before me. there were a couple people that had similar to me (88 in a 65) and their fines were $400 and $500. At this point, Im thinking I'm screwed. The judge was giving these fines to 50 and 60 year olds and I'm only 23. So finally I get called up. I decided to plead no contest. I see the cop shuffling through all his papers, binders, etc. My lucky day, he couldnt find it and the case was dismissed. The judge just gave me a very stern look and said "well today must be your lucky day. You're free to go." I was pretty excited to say the least. The 300 miles on the way home didnt seem nearly as bad since i was in a great mood.

Thank god that cop has terrible organizational skills. I was the third case that day that he couldnt find shit. The judge was getting pissed at him. Oh well, works for me.

Now with this luck, I figure I should go play the Powerball.

HAHAHAHAHAHA i wouldnt go that far but maybe a couple scratchers any way you are lucky b/c they fucked me hard on my driveing in a carpool lane w/ ony one person (me ) $375 when the min is 275. i was pissed and took me 5 months to pay it off thank god doing that has no points againt your record to begin with

I wasnt too worried about the points cause i was 99% sure they wouldnt transfer back to PA. But the fine, had the cop not f'ed up, would've been over $500. Damn Virginia.

Oh well, Brk_05 vs. Virginia..... Brk wins in a very unexpected upset.
