The Bronco effect

Has anyone got there RL fixed the the cold start issue where its jerky when cold. Having a problem getting this fixed, before you guys posted the tsb took my RL to service. Left it overnight for them to duplicate. 7:30 in the morning I showed up at saturn after leaving my car overnight. Went with a tech to duplicate. The tech said oh yeah I can feel that. Called later that day to see whats up and they told me that I wasn't shifting right. BS. I've been driving sticks for years. He told me he would take it home with him to shack town in westland. Told him yeah right. They couldn't find the problem. That was saturn of plymouth. So I found the tsb for this on here and took it to saturn of farmington. They said they fixed it but it still does it. Any suggestions.

Part of it, really IS the way you shift. Not that you don't know how, but this car dosen't seem to follow normal shifting logic. It's just really hard to shift smooth, particuarly the 1-2 on a cold morning. The misc braces help some, and for some reason my K&N helped out, but it's still a bitch to shift smooth.

I've been driving the car for a year and it does it to me from time to time. It is my shifting and it takes an unexplainable and unothodox method to shift smoothly. The brace does help some.

Do you prefer Saturn of Farmington because I'm done with Southgate, they toss dog salad.

Noticed it the last few mornings, when it's been ~40 F. Kinda clunky at first. I just try to shift more smoothly. Then by the time the temp guage reaches it home at the half-way point, feels smooth as butter.

Plus I don't take it over 2500 RPM when the car's cold, so makes wanting to baby the shifts easier.

This is a problem? I just assumed it had to warm up each morning to feel all correct.

No man, sorry, I have about 500 PMs right now. I've seen your's but haven't responded to many. Slacking off, I was trying to get the slips DB cleared up, and I've actually had alot of requests to do 'things' on the site.

That's how I feel about it. Some people have it worse, or have a harder time dealing with it. It's only real annoying when I'm in a bad mood in the morning, on a Moday or something...

The weird thing about this is that I could drive my old 67 chevy pickup three on the tree better then this car, only in the morning.
