You know why Saturn has to do this...cause reg QC's are so butt ugly and they can't ever sell any so they figured they better make it look like the RL so they can sell some. Gotta love those marketing strategies! No wonder GM is in the pathetic state it's in.

Yea... that's it

Other than the 6 inches of bottom trim, the RL IS a QC. So that's just a silly statement. Here's the reason they sell them... People buy them...

Come on, you know you wanna admit that reg QC aren't the best looking car out there. Now, as a RL, they do look very cool and I love it a lot. I've always thought that's what all the QCs should look like. Well, now I guess Saturn is thinking that same thing too, at least on the QC 3 model.

I'm not saying they're great, but if you cover the bottom 6-8 inches of the RL, there's no difference. So if 90% of the car is identical, and one of them is butt ugly, then both are butt ugly. I do like the look of the RL better, what with the ground effects, and such, but the Ion QC's aren't bad looking. Better than the Cobalt, Civic, Sentra, etc...

I don't like the idea of having 'fakes' out there, but that's just a bigger sleeper effect. Let the trolls come on here, I'll handle 'em.

Ok, maybe I shouldn't have said butt ugly, for they're not that bad. I guess what I'm sayin is that without the RL add-ons, the QC is plain. Ok that makes sense. Oh well, we don't need to debate about the looks of regular QCs. Back to the topic. No I'm not gonna like imposter RL's. You think you've finally come upon that rare moment when you've seen another RL, only to be let down that it's a reg QC. But I'll probably never see one of those around here. I'm the only RL in town, and I've only seen like 4 other QCs before. Now watch somebody go buy one since I said that. Oh well lol.

Engine Bore - Stroke
2.4 88mm - 98mm
2.2 86mm - 94.6mm
2.0 86mm - 86mm

As far as the "posers" go, sorry if I am not sympathetic (cuz I guess I AM one) I installed the Redline front fascia on my boys ION because I/we liked the way it looked compared to the base ION. Too bad so sad. But I wouldnt go as far as calling it "posing" but I know THAT was NOT OUR intent, but for others maybe it is. It's not like I would EVER consider adding the Redline Emblems or anything as THAT IMO would be rediculous. In short if you are trying to make people THINK you have a Redline, THAT would be "posing" but still is really a NON-issue IMO providing you had no intention of misrepresenting your car as a Redline in competition or racing.

Just the $0.02 of a typical POSER!! LOL

WOT you couldn't be a poser if you entered a posing contest under the name Posey McPoserson. Simply because of the fact that you could name every number and part and description of everything ever made for this car off the top of your head
