Anyone ever try this stuff???

http://www.quietcoat.com

Even though I love my louder then stock exhaust it kinda sucks going anything over 70mph and since the speedlimit is 75 here in the great state of AZ the sound is annoying at times.

I did try this experiment though...my wifes 93 Civic has an exhaust on it the old one fell off and it was cheaper to put an aftermarket one on it. Anyways it was kinda loud the car always did have a lot of road noise anyways. But I bought 1 can of the spray foam(latex based) and sprayed it on the inside of the trunk the side where the muffler was. And wouldn't you know it, it really did quiet the inside of the car a lot.

Now I am just wondering how good this stuff is I might even go as far as spraying the whole trunk, under the carpet in the cabin, the inner fenders, and inside the door skins.

Just wondering if anyone knows if this product is any good or not. If it is my Saturn is going to be as quiet as a BMW with a loud exhaust.

I may just buy enough and do the trunk first and see how much it helps.

Sorry for the long post cya.

Sure it works! There are lots of different brands/types of spray-on sound dampener out there, I don't know about this one,but it's probably good. The type I have always used (primarily for high-end audio installs) is sold by stinger and is called "Liquid Road-Kill" It works awesome,is tough, water proof, and is also paintable. I used it on the undercarriage as an undercoating on my last saturn and it made a huge difference!

Here's a link, scroll down and you'll see the liquid in the shake can and down further and you'll see the bulk in the quart and gallon(which you need to spray with a rocker schutz gun)which is what I like to use.
