Question Spotted a Few of Redlines near me

Anyone here live in Metairie/Kenner (or) Slidell Louisianna?

I went to Outback a month ago and saw a red redline in the parking lot. Then I saw a blue one with the big wing in Kenner about a week ago (Williams Blvd).
I dont remember if the red one in Slidell had the large wing though (maybe not).
Oh, then there was a silver one with exhaust on Bonnabell Blvd about 2 months ago.

Just thought I'd ask....first time I ever saw a silver one (maybe second if different owner - at the Lakefront before Hurricane Katrina)...
first time for a red one...
and 2nd time I saw a blue one (possibly 3rd time if different owner).

Yes things are pretty bad around here but especially wher ethe levees broke and flooded certain cities and parts of....

Slidell was hit hard by the hurricane, but primarily along the coast - where my aunt nearly has a totalled house (and likely near your friend)....places like New Orleans, Lakeview and Chalmette were "hit" by broken levee systems ---> dramatic flood damage and destruction ----> non-rebuildable (my aunts house is salvageable with the right amount of money).
If you haven't been to New Orleans, Lakeview or Chalmette yet, then you have PLENTY more to see
Me and the rest of my family are EXTRA LUCKY since we live in Metairie ---> immediately opposite of the major levee breakage at Lakeview (Inside the New Orleans Parish line).
There's still major amounst of untouched damage.....one house at a time basically, and the poor are looking to be "last in line" for any significant attention (only because nothing's free, ya know). And New Orleans is in debt enough as it is without a storm like this.....too many poor living in a city in debt basically. So you have the poor areas and you have the areas that were completely "totalled" like Chalmette -----> where houses AND foundations floated down streets and into other houses....and cars laying in trees and along houses. When you close up a house and put 12ft of water around it, it floats like a jetski...yanking the foundation up with it!
I saw houses that were direct hits at the canal, where the rush of sudden water blew out the back walls of houses/garages and pushed cars verticle into trees.....and mud dug out from under the foundations.

Slidell is fine EXCEPT along the coast where they took on short-term flooding and bad wind damage etc....everywhere else inland is pretty normal by now for the most part.
Again, it's Lakeview, Orleans and Chalmette (and then some) that will bring a tear to your eye and make you speachless. TV and pics dont do it near any justice! It's pretty ridiculous.

Just yesterday the FBI and other federal officials stood by while sheet pilings were pulled from the levee walls....to determine and officially document the fault of the wall's construction etc.
The blame so far is on the pilings being driven in to shallow into the earth, and the walls aren't reinforced by any major land or supplemental wall structure.....so blame IS easily placed on human error, not the storm itself.
The new prototype walls are looking pretty tough (I guess so!) But there's several hundred miles of wall around here that need to be upgraded, so this coming hurricane season will be extremely risky since none of the major work will be done yet. They're focusing on "patch" work first. We'll all be shitting our pants when another big one comes.....and the storms are getting more and more frequent/plentiful, and stronger every year. It won't be another 30yrs for another bad hit.

I truly beleive ther are some areas down ther that can never be rebuilt. Well stay safe and god bless and have fun with your car!
