Try this out and no its not the military but a civil service jobs. They pay is good and the benifits are the best around. They are very short manned and need to hire. Not to mention I need some company in the NW.

Ya theres this place called microsoft, I hear there kinda big. JK If you check out the web site shop 67 is electronics and is actually my dads shop. (By that he works there)

And as far as the shipyard worker depends on you trade, I for example get paid for my engineering smarts. Got them fooled dont tell anybody. But seriously the sheetmetal trade or even electritians have got it pretty good. The hours bad are you nuts, I get 8 hours of annual leave and 4 hours of sick leave every two weeks. Not to mention where else do you get a free trip all over like hawaii and such and did I mention its a 8 hour shift type of job.
Dont forget ALL holidays off paid, including a week shutdown during christmas.

Man why cant I feel this way about my job when I'm at work.

Cuz it's YOUR job. After a while, no one feels so enthusiastic about their job.
