'05 vs '06

There is some talk on the cobalt forums about the '06's being faster than the '05's. Apparently the air filter is different and its a little less restrictive. Also the PCM is a different p/n also. There is some rumor of the '06's having the staged reflash in them stock. Don't dont if anyone with an '06 has dyno'd and got any more power stock. Just thought I'd throw this info out there, now discuss...

i have a 04 redline my bro has a 06 SS and he has more hp for less mods

plus his stock intake fitler looks like a god damn intake has vents and shiz all over it mine had none

my 05 redline is just as fast as one with header & the big bore tb & intake mod. we were dead even!

havn't dynoed mine yet but i'm thinking i'm gunna have less hp at the wheels due to the LSD prolly takin 5 whp... i'll see tho in the summer when i go to dyno it before the stage kits

If it was the scdyne header than I could see why but any other header would make me wonder...

Does anyone know the p/n for the PCM in the '05 and '06. They are different so if anyone could give me the 2 p/n's I'd appreciate it.
