Any Regrets?

Just wanting to know if you all have any regrets buying the RL over a SRT-4? Before I bought my RL, I test drove a red SRT-4, and could not make up my mind for a long time, I decided to go with the RL, for the reason been better driving position, smoother ride, better shifter, the seats on the SRT-4 was sweet, I think Viper seats? But I felt that the RL was the better car for the money. So far no regrets.

Well for me i wish i would have gotten the SRT-4. Just for the fact of after market hop ups for it. And im a real big Dodge Fan. Im currently building a 69 charger. The Dodge dealer treated my wife and i so bad when we where looking at the SRT-4 we walked out. Drove sraight to saturn and picked up the redline. I should of gotton the comp package. But im the kind of guy who thinks that a car is built not bought. I was thinking the comp package was just some cheap LSD and i would put a better one in later. I should of got it. Im sure i will feel better about this car when stage kits come out and there more after market stuff to get. Now i just want to spank SRT-4s out of spite.

Sometimes I regret having not bought the srt-4. I drove it and loved it, but didn't like the hard seats and the wobbly body/suspension in quick lane changes. But it wasn't as noisy with squeaks and stuff either. So sometimes I regret it, but in general, I'm happy with my redline. Just wish there would be more aftermarket.

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, WHICH MEANS NOTHING!

The SRT-4 is one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen, the handling is retarded and feels like I'm driving my dad's old cadillac, the seats feel like a midget is trying to hitch a ride on my back and the "power" package includes manual rear windows, the spoiler is trying to copy off the old supra and fails horribly at doing it, it's a sedan and no real sports car is a sedan.

I think the Ion is one of the best looking cars availible to the public beside the 2005 Mustang GT and the 2005 Charger SRT-8. I would'nt of bought anything else and an SRT wasn't even on my option list. I dont wanna internet argue with anyone over my comments but that just how I feel about the car.

I gave no thought whatsoever to the SRT, I did however give serious consideration to the WRX, but when I saw & drove the RL I knew it was mine. I think I'm in love with my car.

I had never driven an SRT before I bought a RL. BUT, my neighbor soon got one, and we trade cars once in a while (i.e. I will race him using his car with him in mine), and I like it, but I like saturns interior alot more. The dodge stero is ghetto and sounds bad, the hwy drone is awful, the seats are ok, but not a huge fan. And it really feels like it is going to slip out from under you on tight turns. So no, i like my redline.

Hmmm... I wonder if this is normal for Dodge dealerships. I was treated a complete moron at Virginia Beach Dodge... even though I'm pretty sure I knew as much if not more about that car than the dealer did. The guys at Saturn however were very fair and the salesman himself said that he didn't know very much about the IRL. (They don't get very many of them apparently.) No regrets here!
