The new Falken's the 615's are the way to go, but they'll go fast. That's the tire that I'll be picking up for circuit racing, if you want one that's just meant to go straight, there are a few more options available. The Falken's are about $170 a tire.

I think you can get 235-245's on there, not sure. I have 225's on the RL right now...

yea the falkens are nice but for the 18's and someing thats an all around good summer tire i suggest the kuhmo exstacy... the tires are cheap and are some of the best tires out... they are super sticky but don't wear out fast at all

235 would be the widest i would go with the stock rims...

I've got on the BFG KDW II's and love em. I'm in florida so I only need a summer tire. They stick like crazy and they are wearing pretty nicely. I've been told to just stay on top of rotations and they'll continue to wear this good. I've had em on for about 5K-6K miles now (maybe a little more?) and I'm gettin ready to rotate them, just so I don't have to do it at school. I haven't tried anything else on the car besides these and the stockers, but I love these. BTW, I'm running 225 width as well, per the advice of a former member on here (who was an instructor at UTI Hotrodding Institute) who said that the 235's he put on DID rub.

If you're looking for the best of the best "street" tire...the Falken RT-615 is the way to go. I had them on my 02 SL2 and took G stock by 3 seconds. Even over Civics and Minis. But don't expect them to last more than the summer. Pretty decent in the rain too.
