Sky Pricing

What's everyone think, any markup for when it immediately hits the floor? I'm debating if I wanna get it, or wait the year for the Redline, and/or wait a year for the kinks/depreciation to hit a bit.

Anyways here's some links.

I'm seriously debating trying to make a deal with my dealer for an '05 IRL and a Sky for a good deal 40k out the door? hmmmm

I would wait for the Sky Redline if you are concerned with performance at all.

Well the way I see it as nice as it would be for performance, if I were to buy a convertible, I'd want ADEQUATE performance, but if I wanted kickass performance, just stick with the IRL and mod thata. convertibles are for cruising/having fun imo, not for draggin

ha.. you know how much money that dealer would be losing if he did that.. lol. i'd say a irl and a sky for $45k sounds better lol.

And the pricing and packages are all on saturn.com now. Check it out.. we'll be gettin one to drive at the store here sometime at the end of the month before the midwest autoshow.

well the way i see it, would depend on what the car actually ends up costing?

Already got the dealer down to below 20k out the door, and the car's been sitting there for over a year now with multiple interested but noone biting, so they'd be willing to probably drop a thousand or 2.
and if I bought a sky as well, even more business goin that way (estimated at like 24k or whatever). Possibly, you never know I like to live in my dream world.

There is distinct possibility that the sky redline is going to have better performance (speed and handling) then the IRL.

true true, but by the time they have all the kinks ironed out for the the sky redline, i could easily see that being a good 2-3 years from this point in time, probably more.
At least when they introducd the IRL, the ION wasn't a brand new idea so there was less to iron out, and even then, anyone wiht a 2004 model knows how bad it is :P. Combine the brand new car, I could easily see it not being till the 2010 model that the car is actually in good reliable shape....

imo :P
